ART FIGHT 2026

I decided to start this ArtFight by revenging some people that attacked me last year. OhAngel drew an AMAZING piece for me in 2025 that i didn't have the time to revenge, but i just HAD to return the favor at some point!
So, the first drawing of this year was of her characters, Nora and Erelio. They are such a sweet couple, i just had to draw them hanging out together!
I also tried to experiment with my art style a bit here. I rarely ever draw lineart and my proportions are usually much more stylized than this. I think it turned out cute, but i still feel more comfortable when drawing more cartoony proportions

This one is for Calzonie! This character is like. My favourite type of character, sad wet cat guy. Just had to draw him
I experimented with line art on this one as well, still doesn't feel right, although using this chunky brush was the first ever time i actually enjoyed drawing lineart lol

These characters are Ochre and Therin by an amawing 3D artist Mossgrove! I just adore their designs. Had them bookmarked for ages and i'm glad i finally got to draw them!
I'm really happy they liked the result, they even said that it's their phone wallpaper now, like how cool is that???

This is Ada Carter by Sighfy. With this attack i finally tried out the 3D technique i saw in one of Jackie Droujko's posts. She made a video on it, and i wanted to try it ever since! It's super fun and i'm happy i finally got to make something like this. Working with simple sculpting like this is really interesting, and i don't even have to worry about rigging or topology. Just the fun stuff!

This is my first revenge of the year, Kezy_b's spidersona! The character design inspired me so much, i loved the colors, the chunky jacket and the can idea was so cool i just had to implement it somehow! I also tried to mimick the Spiderverse vibes a bit here, it just fits really fell with the whole 3D sketch thing in my opinion ahah

An attack of a heart hound for Sauria. Also had these little guys bookmarked for ages, i'm glad i waited long enough to be able to them in 3d. In my opinion, this design was just MADE to be three dimensional, i loooved the proccess of making this model

For a really long time i was scared of attacking (or just drawing gifts in general) artists who have much higher skills than me. It just makes you feel like kindergartener showing off you scribbles to an actual gallery painter, you know? But this year i decided fight this fear
So, this diva is the character by trustfulGrumpy (aka Masha Lyod)! I've been following her art socials for a long time and her characters are so badass i always wanted to draw something of them.
I'm really proud of how the golden materials turned out, and the jacket was really fun to make!

Since i've been learning how to animate lately, one of my goals this year was to make at least one hand drawn animation for Art Fight. And here it is! I'm still very shy when it comes to actual frame-by-frame animation. Cut-out animation with rigs is way easier for me because i do it as a job so i wanted to challenge myself a little!
This character is Jasper by mikan_bre4d. I chose him because he is an archer and animating him shooting arrows seemed like a simple enough yet interesting action to draw! Looking back on it, there are already some things that i'd do differently if i was making it now, but i'm still happy with the result

This is a revenge for Blushees. At that point of artfight i realised this i actually haven't drawn that much! I was getting a little tired of 3d modeling so i used this revenge as an opportunity to take a bit of a rest and just draw like i usually do, without experimenting with anything. I'm really happy with how the colors turned out on this one!

Aand then i made another 3D model. This is a revenge for Fatherober, a portrait of her character Claudia. I really liked her design, the outfit is just soo cool. I wish i had more time so could turn it into an actual full-body model but ArtFight was coming to an end and i had lots of other revenges to do. It was still lots of fun to make though! I made it surprisingly fast compared to my first models of the month so maybe i did up my skills a little this year

Revenge for andrea_omo. It was one of the last days before artfight ended, so i had to hurry up a bit and had to start doing sketches. I tried my best to make it look as dynamic as possible and i hope i did well with that!

A revenge for Rannirize! Also a sketc, just a painterly one. I love drawing quick portraits like this because i don't get too caught up in the details. It's not always a good thing though.. I'm just now noticing how i messed up the perspective of the glasses on this character :")

Aand the last drawing i did for artfight this year was the revenge for PurplePumpkin! This character is a pokemon trainer. She's so well designed she fits right in with the canon. This made me want to try and mimic the gen4/5 art style. I don't think the result actually passes as a game/series sprite, i have to work a bit more on shading and lineart (my biggest weakness), but it was a really interesting experience nontheless!

And that's it for now! I'm really glad i had the opportunity to participate this year. It's been 8 years since i first joined this event and i hope i'll keep it up in the future, too. Things like this really make July a month i'm waiting for every time, it's more exciting for me than Christmas at this point. It's just one of those times when i can relax and experiment with my art however i want, try out different mediums, techniques and never run out of ideas because there's plenty of amazing characters to draw! And sometimes i even recieve cool drawings of MY ocs! Like how cool is that???
