this is just a list of random stuff i played/wathced/read/etc and would love to tell someone about them. A lot of these are small indie projects so i think it would be cool if you checked some some of them out. I mean you don't have to but
"The house" is a stop-motion animated movie. It's story divided into three parts, each dedicated to a different stroy that happened inside the same building. It's a little bit hard for me to talk about movies without spoiling the whole plot so i don't want to go too much into details (and it has A LOT of details).
This movie didn't get even a half of the recognition that it deserved so i really hope you will check it out after reading my list!
"Don't bury me without Ivan" is easily one of my top-three favourite films. It's based on a real-life story that follows Ivan Popov and Stepan Bereskov on their ethnographic expedition. The thing is, Stepan suffers from a lethargic sleep syndrome which constantly gets them into trouble on the way.
This movie is overfilled with beautiful shots of nature and provides a great insight into Yakut culture. I'm not even yakitian, but I've rewatched it several times and every single time i would come out feeling inspired and full of love towards the surrounding world. I don't know, it just makes me feel rally happy and in peace for some reason.
Sadly, it's not a very popular movie even in Russia, so i'm not sure if there are even english subtitles for it. If you are able to watch it though, definitely do. It's totally worth it!
Rubblar is an indie game made for a GameJam by two developers. And, honestly, it's the first time i have ever enjoyed an arcade game. You can play it in browser, each level takes less than a minute to complete, strongly recommed for killing time!

Elevator hitch is also an indie game made for a GameJam ^D You might recognise this artstyle since this game is made by the developers of "Dead plate"! The game follows a concept of "each floor is different and has something f-ed up" which is one of my favourite tropes in media. It's mostly an "escape-room"-type of game, has some nice puzzles.
Out of all of the Studio Investigate's game this one is my favourite so far!

Orbo's odyssey is a 3d platfoermer about the lil guy named - you guessed it - Orbo, who got locked in an office building. The game offers several great levels, awesome mechanics and smooth controls as well as the modding toolkit which lets the players modify and create their own levels. There's also lots of secret easter-eggs and a bit of lore sprinkled here and there throughout the whole game.
Oh, and did i mention the graphics? They are quite cool as well. I'm ashasmed to admot this, but i did buy the game at first only because it looked cool. I'm not even into 3d-platformers tbh

Gob is an indie point-n-click adventure game stylized to look like classic games of the genre. It is still in developement with a demo available, but i'd still like to put it on this list since even the demo was awesome and i know that lot of people on neocities love this retro-aethtetic graphics.

Pikuniku is a weird and silly adventure-game. It doesn't take itself seriosly and i definitely felt like i lost a couple of braincells after plaing it (but like. in a good way). The artstyle is very simple yet endeering and the soundtrack SLAPS.

Subway Midnight is an indie horror game. Well, kinda horror? It's not really scary, i'd say it's rather sPo0ky. This game has an amazing artstyle and a nice little narrative that's told through visual only. It's very short, i finished it in about 2 hours, but there are also 2 alternative endings to check out!

So far i've only listed small indie games that don't really get much attention. However i would like to also mention some more popeular games i enjoy that you've probably heard of. Since most of them probably need no introductions, i'll pute them in a bullet-list:
Louie Zong is a multimedia artist. If you look into his stuff you'll find all kinds of art: music, drawing, animation, storyboarding, 3D modeling, even game coding!! And so much more. All of his work follows a very recognizable, silly yet dynamic artstyle. The color palettes and textures he usesare so cool! And this man doesn't even have an arts degree or someting if i remember correctly. He truly is a jack of all trades and i always feel incredibly inspired after seeing what he creates. I wanna be like him when i grow up....
This being said, you might already be familiar with some of his work! For example, he is the guy who made the Ghost Choir and Hello World! Definitely check them out if you haven't already. He also worked as a storyboard artists on some of the CartoonNetwork shows like "We bare bears" and "Fionna and Cake".
I highly advice you to visit his social media and look at some of his latest work:
Melonking is probably known to anyone who spent at least a few days exploring neocities, but i would still like to include it here. Let's be honest, this IS an amazing piece of media. I definitely lost a few hours just clicking around the place and seeing where it would take me. It has a lot of useful stuff like guides and widgets as well. Definitely helped me to get started with my own website!
FreeCodeCamp is a website dedicated to teaching different programming languages including HTML, CSS and even JavaScript. I got most of knowledge on coding from there, and i didn't even know what html was before starting, so it's REALLY great for beginners. I can't recommend it enough!
Dither it lets you apply cool dither effects to pictures
